Hours: Open Fri. after Thanksgiving until Dec. 24, weekends 8 a.m. - dusk; weekdays 10 a.m. - dusk.

TAPPANS U-CUT CHRISTMAS TREES

Trees: Douglas fir - all sizes $25; Grand fir - all sizes $30; Noble fir - all sizes $45; Fraser fir - all sizes $30. Trees up to 12 feet tall.

Prices: Prices include sales tax. Checks or cash only.

Hours: Open from Fri., Nov. 23 - Sat., Dec. 22, 10:00 a.m. - dusk on weekdays and 9 a.m. - dusk on weekends.

Extras: Free shaking along with saws, restroom, candy canes, coffee and hot chocolate. Twine provided. The farm has gravel roads and clean fields.

Profile/Directions: This 7-acre farm can be reached from the Clark County Fairgrounds, east on NE 179th St. three miles to NE 72nd Ave., then north and watch for a sign on the east side of the road after about 1/4 mile. From Battle Ground, go west on NE 219th St. to Dollars

LARWICKS CHRISTMAS TREE FARM

Trees: NO trees over 8’, great selection of Nobles, Nordman, Frasers.

Hours: Mon. - Fri., 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Sat. - Sun., 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Fri., Nov. 23 - Fri.,  Dec. 21. Closed Thanksgiving.

Extras: Clean fields, rock parking, restrooms. Santa’s gift shop filled with Christmas decorations and gifts. Hot apple cider, hot cocoa and candy canes are provided. Wreaths and swags. Wood cutouts throughout the farm for pictures. Bow saws and string are provided. Shaking and netting is also available. We have added a drill machine this year.

RILEY CREEK TREE FARM

Trees: Noble fir to 10 feet - $5 per foot; Douglas fir to 10 feet - $3 per foot; Grand fir to 10 feet - $4 per foot.

Hours: Opens Fri., Nov. 23, 9 a.m.- dusk. Then daily, 9 a.m.-dusk, except Sundays, 10:30 a.m.-dusk.

Extras: Special holiday display. Hot chocolate, coffee, candy canes, and a nativity scene are 

part of the fun. Limited farm crew help on weekdays. Free tree baling. Wreaths and gift shop available.

LA CENTER FARMS

Trees: Douglas fir, Grand fir, Noble fir, tabletop trees.

Prices: $15-$42. Additional $5 discount for military, police or fire personnel.

Hours: Beginning the day after Thanksgiving through Dec. 20. Fridays, 1 - 5 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Extras: The cozy barn provides a place to relax with complimentary refreshments, warming fire, sitting area, music, restroom and children’s play area. On weekends, the Gift Shop is open and cartoons are shown in the theater for the entire family. Additionally there is convenient parking, saws, assistance, shaking and baling. The farm donates trees to military families through the “Trees for Troops” program.

Profile/Directions: This 83-acre farm features high quality U-cut Christmas trees and is operated by Stephen and Lissa Boynton and their two children. It is located just 1.7 miles east of La Center and easy to find. Drive through La Center on 4th St. which becomes Lockwood Creek Rd. Turn right at NE 40th Ave. and drive one half mile. Trees: Douglas fir to 12 feet, Grand fir to 9 feet, Noble fir to 12 feet, Fraser fir to 10 feet, Nordmann up to 8 feet. Tabletop trees.

Prices: $36 and up. All trees are individually tagged and priced. Fresh cut trees available.

Hours: Open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily beginning Fri., Nov. 23 - Mon., Dec. 24.

Extras: Saws, restrooms, coffee, hot chocolate, covered petting zoo, nativity scene, candy canes, hayrides, clean fields, graveled and lined parking are provided. Homemade crafts, wreaths and boughs for sale. Tree shaking and baling also offered. “Marriage-saving” tree stands sell for $23.95 and up. Free installation of tree stands after shaking.

B&L CHRISTMAS TREE FARM
