Watershed stewardship workshop planned

Free watershed stewardship classes are being held in August and September by the Clark Conservation District. 

The classes are held from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Bud Van Cleve Community Room, 4000 NE 78th St., Vancouver. The dates are August 14, 21, 28, and September 4, 11, 18. 

The six week course will educate participants about local watersheds and water quality issues in the Clark County area. Each week a new topic will be presented. At the end of the course, members will be asked to give back by completing eight hours of community service promoting watershed protection in the Salmon Creek Watershed.
