Join community members at 11 a.m. this Memorial day at the Battle Ground Veterans Memorial — 422 SW 2nd Ave., Battle Ground — to remember and honor the men and women that lost their lives serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Thirty-one Battle Ground-area men who lost their lives in WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Afghanistan and Iraq will be remembered at the ceremony as well as the reading of two poems, ‘The Mother of a Soldier,’ and ‘My Coming Home.’
Amboy Memorial Day Ceremony
The American Legion Post 168 is hosting a memorial event from 11 a.m. to noon on May 27th at Territorial Park, 21400 NE 399th St., Amboy.
