North County folks have a good excuse to swing by Mill Creek Pub this month.
The Battle Ground equestrian team will hold a fundraiser at the country style restaurant from 4-10 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17. Mill Creek Pub’s address is 1710 SW 9 Ave., Battle Ground (next to Battle Ground Cinema).
The fundraiser will feature prizes of gift baskets, gift certificates and more, donations are accepted as well.
The equestrian team, made up of 16 riders this year, compete in a number of different events that allows them the opportunity to qualify for state and can also play a role in helping them earn scholarships.
“Your donation and support is greatly appreciated and can be applied to a specific category or a general fund,” team organizers wrote in a news release. “Each dollar is valuable to the team and will be used to make an exciting and successful season for the Battle Ground riders.”
