2012 Luxury Home Tour a smashing success

Clark County’s premier luxury housing tour, the Greater Vancouver Luxury Homes Group’s Doorways to Luxury 2012 Luxury Home Spring Tour enjoyed record attendance this year.

The annual event featured a tour of nearly 30 of Southwest Washington’s finest homes for sale including the historic Biddle Estate on the Columbia River, exquisite townhomes at Sahalie, a gated Manor Home on the Lewis River, and a Columbia Gorge Jewel in Stevenson.

“Our high profile tour drew potential home buyers from throughout the Pacific Northwest,” said Ed Faulk, GVLH co-chair.  “We had a high concentration of visits from potential homebuyers from as far north as Seattle and as far south as Ashland and California.”

Linda Horowitz, GVLH co-chair added, “Wow. You’d think after four years we’d be used to having a successful event. But this year far surpassed our wildest expectations. We used to be the “best kept secret” for having Luxury Homes … but no more. With our Doorways to Luxury Open House event we’ve been able to bring Vancouver to the rest of the world.”

The Greater Vancouver Luxury Homes Group partners REALTORS who specialize in the luxury home market with clients seeking to purchase and/or sell a home in the $600,000 and beyond price range. A collaborative website offers some great resources for service providers in the industry to help with luxury home transactions. The website  www.doorwaystoluxury.com has become the destination luxury home listing/search website for this upscale market in SW Washington.

“Our website and advertising stats showed the tour info and property views came from locations around the world. During the week leading up to and including tour day, Sun., June 3, we had 9316 page views to the site,” Shawn Sturos, GVLH Marketing Chair added.
