Affordable housing topic of next community leadership speaker series event

Leadership Clark County (LCC) invites the public to the next event in the Community Leadership Speaker Series, which will focus on the timely topic of affordable housing. The event is scheduled for Friday, November 17th from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Red Cross Building (605 Barnes St. in Vancouver) and is sponsored by The Historic Trust.

The panelists for this event are Leah Greenwood, Director of Property and Asset Management, Vancouver Housing Authority; Andy Silver, Executive Director, Council for the Homeless; Charlene Dahlen, Executive Director, Community Housing Resource Center; and Craig Lyons of Key Property Services, Inc.. Master of Ceremonies Jeanne Bennett of Workforce Southwest Washington will guide the panelists through a discussion of the impact of affordable housing on Clark County, including ways in which attendees can help address this critical issue.

LCC is a nonprofit organization that develops effective community leaders to serve Clark County. The Community Leadership Speaker Series was developed to provide an opportunity for the general public to connect directly to community leaders in an intimate setting. Leadership Speaker Series events are also designed to encourage informal dialogue and participant engagement as featured speakers share their insights regarding key issues affecting Clark County and their personal approaches to leadership.
