Become a Master Composter/Recycler

For those in Clark County interested in becoming a Master Composter/Recycler, applications are now being taken for the 2018 training program.

“The training provides information and resources on composting, recycling, green cleaning, green building, water quality and other aspects of sustainable living,” county officials stated in a news release. 

Instead of payment, participants will be asked for 30 hours of volunteer time within a year. Those who successfully complete the program will be certified as Master Composter/Recyclers. Furthermore, they will  become waste reduction ambassadors for the Clark County community, 



"Over the years, our Master Composter/Recycler volunteers have provided extraordinary service to the community," Pete DuBois, Master Composter/Recycler coordinator, said in the release. "They exemplify environmental stewardship in diverse and remarkable ways."
