Members of the Clark County Historic Preservation Commission recently added the Ridgefield City Hall building to the county’s Heritage Register.

Built in 1920, Ridgefield City Hall, located at 230 Pioneer St., is one of the oldest structures in downtown Ridgefield. According to a press release by Community Planning, the building was originally used as a bank and is historically known as the Ridgefield State Bank. It has been occupied by Ridgefield City Hall since 1975.

The release also states, “the building is a rare example of formal Classical Revival architecture in Ridgefield.”
