5K start

Runners embark on the Resolution Run beginning at Maple Grove School in Battle Ground Jan. 6, 2019.

Get together with friends and family to get a “runners high” on Sunday, Jan. 5, with a Resolution Run hosted by Get Bold Events. The event will feature its usual 10K, 5K and 1K “Cub Run” as well as adding a 15K and a 15K relay this year. The race begins at Maple Grove School, 610 B SW Eaton Blvd., Battle Ground. The event will have water stops every 1.5 miles as well as an optional “Polar Bear Slide” at the finish line.

The event will benefit local youth sports as well as the Boy Scouts of America. Bring your used Christmas tree to the event and the Boy Scouts will recycle it for you. After the race, head over to Northwood Public House for the afterparty. The price to register for the event varies depending on the length of race. All registrations include a finisher medal, long sleeve race shirt, chip timing, goodie bag and access to the afterparty with one complimentary beverage. More information and registration information is available at getbold
