THE CLARK COUNTY Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing Tue., Oct. 14, 10 a.m., in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room, sixth floor, Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver. The hearing will be held to consider a request for approval of the recommended changes to the Clark County Code 2.29, Veterans Assistance, the substitution of insurance for bonding including changes to the title of the code chapter and the name of the advisory board, to reflect current terminology and procedues for Veterans Assistance. THE PORT OF WOODLAND Board of Directors will meet Tue., Oct. 14, at the port office, 115 Davidson Ave., at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to adopt the proposed final budget for fiscal 2015.
