Scare away hunger with a night of mystery and mayhem!
At 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Battle Ground Community Center, the North Clark County Food Bank will hold its annual Scare Away Hunger fundraiser.
This year, the Murder Mystery Company of Portland will be on scene to help solve a “murder.” Guests are encouraged to come in their best 1920s “Gatsby-style” apparel and everyone will help solve the crime.
The fundraiser will also include a variety of 1920s themed auction packages that will be sold off throughout the night in both live and silent fashion.
This is North Clark County Food Bank’s major fundraiser each year. The money raised enables the organization to provide emergency food supplies to those in crisis and to offer them educational programs.
