BG’s Pasta Gigis to participate in food and wine pairings

English Estate Winery will be pairing up with Battle Ground restaurant Pasta Gigis for a weekend of food and wine pairings Sat.-Sun., Sept. 5-6, noon-5 p.m. at English Estate Winery and 10 other southwest Washington wineries.

Participants will have the opportunity to taste three Estate Wines alongside three freshly made cuisine masterpieces from Pasta Gigis for $10 at English Estate Winery, 17806 SE 1st St., Vancouver.

Visitors can learn how wine can change with just an addition of succulence to your palate. Pasta Gigis will serve up three tastings including a crostini, with goat cheese and a strawberry balsamic reduction, a mushroom ravioli, with a white wine cream sauce and rosemary and a grilled apricot, topped with amaretto cookie crumbles and pinot nector whipped cream.

Cost is $10 for three wine & food pairings.  All wines are 100 percent estate grown in Vancouver by winemaker Jennifer English of English Estate Winery.



English Estate Winery will also be offering its typical tasting room wine tasting of five wines for $5. This fee is waived if a bottle is purchased.
