Seventeen Battle Ground-area churches will join forces for a Community Thanksgiving Eve Service.
This year’s speaker will be Pastor Shawn Newberry of Battle Ground Baptist Church.
An offering will be taken at the event, with proceeds being donated to the North County Community Food Bank. Last year the offering for the food bank was $1235.35. Donations of non-perishable food items are welcome as well.
A varying number of churches in Battle Ground have gathered on the night before Thanksgiving for almost 40 years to show unity in the community.
