The Professional Photographers of Washington (PPW) recently announced they will host the Western District Affiliate Photo Judging for the Professional Photographers of America at the Red Lion on the Quay in Vancouver, March 26-29.
The judging will run from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Thu.-Fri., March 26-27 and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sat., March 28. There will also be an industry Trade Show from 6-10 p.m. on Fri., March 27 and noon-3 p.m. on Sat., March 28. Both of these events are open to the public.
The Western District Image exhibit will be on display in the Trade Show area. After that, starting on March 28, the Annual Educational Conference will begin until March 31, featuring speakers from all over the U.S.
The Professional Photographers of Washington will also be collecting new and used shoes for Dando Amor. Dando Amor collects shoes for people in Ecuador, Burkina Faso & Haiti. PPW will have collection boxes available at the Red Lion on the Quay for the public to drop of shoes.www.dandoamor.org.
