Area residents will have the opportunity to celebrate Earth Month with a free Lasagna Gardening workshop.
The workshop will take place on Sat., April 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Center for Agriculture, Science, and Environmental Education in Brush Prairie.
Lasagna gardening is a great method to turn organic materials from your garden into rich soil right in your garden bed. No tilling or turning required. As part of this hands-on workshop, you will make a lasagna garden and learn all the basics necessary to get started building your own lasagna garden at home.
