Anchors away at this four-day event from June 27 to 30 where nautical lovers and window shoppers alike gather to see small boats and large yachts to tour as well as vendors, cars, and food with evening performances at 4 p.m. by Britnee Kellogg on Friday, June 28 and Lance Kinnaird on Saturday, June 29.
Meaningful Movies: The Coming of Age in Aging America
Join community members and conversationalists tonight, June 26, at Old Liberty Theater, 115 N Main Ave., Ridgefield as the documentary "Coming of Age in Aging America" is shown and followed by a post-film discussion. Chuck Green from the Clark County Commission on Aging moderates the post discussion about the documentary which suggests that America’s social and economic institutions must change to adapt to a staggering demographic transformation into a world where over half the population is at least 50 years old.
Lobby conversations and refreshments at 6:30 p.m., previews at 6:45 p.m. and documentary at 7 p.m. with post discussion to follow.
