THE CLARK COUNTY Republican Party will present its annual Lincoln Day Dinner Sat., June 4, 5:30 p.m. dinner registration and auction, at the Heathman Lodge, 7801 NE Greenwood Dr., Vancouver. FIRST AID/CPR/AED TRAINING: The goal of this training is to help students gain the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to manage a medical emergency until more advanced help is available. This course will cover adult/child/infant CPR, AED and Basic Emergency First Aid, such as choking, control of bleeding and managing shock. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certification card that is valid for two years. Class is 6-9 p.m., June 16, at Lewisville, cost is $49. Ask about group discount rates. KIDS LIKE LANGUAGES: One week of immersion camp in Spanish for ages 4-11. Learning culture through games, sports and arts. Your child will strengthen their language acquisition through proficiency and literacy. Students will explore a different Spanish speaking country each day of the summer camp through fun and engaging activities. Lessons are filled with art, music, games, gestures and everyday situations to promote fluency and cultural awareness. Your child will have the opportunity to use their language skills to prepare them for future interactions in the real world. Bring a sack lunch. YMCA SUMMER GLEE CAMPS: Are you looking for something to do the first week after school is out? YMCA Glee Camp (Ages 7-12): Glee Club participants will sing, dance, cheer and act in a fun and encouraging environment as they prepare and rehearse for a short show for parents. Come join others for a week of glee. Bring lunch, snack and water bottle. Camp is June 20-24 at Captain Strong, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., cost is $186. YMCA Jr. Glee (Frozen Themed) Camp (Ages 4-6): This Glee Club has iced over. Participants will sing, dance, cheer and act just like Elsa, Anna and Olaf. Bring a snack and water bottle. Sports & Recreation

GIRLS BASKETBALL TIGER Cage Camp: Coaching individual and team skills in a competitive, fun atmosphere. Suitable levels of skill and competition will be provided for girls, ages 5-14. Cage Camp coaches will include Lisa May, BGHS Head Girls Coach, as well as BGHS Girls Varsity Basketball players. Instilling skills, enthusiasm, and a love for the game will be the goals. Campers will get a T-shirt, indicate whether it is a youth or adult size. Camp is June 27-30, 9 a.m.-noon, BGHS Main Gym, cost is $100. SUMMER TRACK: Come learn and enhance your track running and jumping skills. They will be doing conditioning exercises, running, turbo javelin, shot, long jump, relays and hurdles. Bring water to each practice. Wear comfortable running clothes and good running shoes. (Ages 11-15): June 20-July 20, meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-10:30 a.m., cost is $57. (Ages 5-10): June 21-July 21, meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10 a.m., cost is $47. Both programs meet at the BGHS District Stadium Track.
