Nominations still open for Clark County’s 2017 First Citizen Award

Posted

Presented since 1939, the First Citizen Award is the county’s highest distinction of citizenship. First Citizen honorees are chosen for their accomplishments and contributions to the community in a number of areas, including effectiveness in leadership roles, raising community standards and expectations, strengthening community identity and civic pride, and exemplary giving of time, self and resources.

Honorees are selected by a committee that is comprised of community leaders and past First Citizens. This respected group reviews all nominations for Clark County’s 2017 First Citizen Award and selects a Clark County resident who has modeled exemplary citizenship through their actions and service to the community.
