Clark College Chorale to present "A Choral Connection" June 3

The Clark College Chorale, co-directed by April Duvic and Janet Reiter, will present A Choral Connection Sun., June 3, 3 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 4300 Main St., Vancouver.

Joining them in this first-ever choral collaboration is the Columbian Chorale Ensemble of Longview, co-directed by Alison Askeland and Brian Mitchell. The Clark College Chorale will sing a diverse program of music from music set to words by Shakespeare to Billy Joel’s And So It Goes.

The Women of the Chorale will be featured in the modern spiritual Nothin’ Gonna Stumble My Feet and the Men of the Chorale highlighted in I’se the B’y.



The Columbian Chorale Ensemble has selected works by Edward Fissinger, Hugo Alfven, Andrea Ramsey and Darmon Meader, as well as two traditional songs arranged by Gwenyth Walker and Undine S. Moore.
