Studio E Fitness, a fitness and well-being center located in the heart of the Salmon Creek community, is offering a free Fall Into Well-Being Health and Wellness Fair Sat., Sept. 27, 3-5 p.m., at 1311 NE 134th St., Vancouver.

Peggy Eisenhauer of Studio E Fitness said the health and wellness fair will highlight Studio E’s offerings and will showcase some of the studio’s business partners who offer products and services within Studio E.

Here are some things Eisenhauer said visitors can expect to learn during the health and wellness fair:

• Discover the benefits of personal training with D. Burns Fitness – Dixie helps you achieve your fitness and nutrition goals by designing a structured program to fit your individual needs. She provides motivation by encouraging and educating about healthy lifestyle changes and offers continuous nutrition coaching, meal plans and progress tracking. Dixie assists people of all ages and fitness levels in a secure, enjoyable, and supportive atmosphere. Visit http://www.studioefitness.net/personal-training-nutrition.

• Introduction to safe and effective weight loss by Superior Sports Nutrition and Weight Loss – Based on Ellen Gyberg’s own weight loss success story and four years of intense research, she developed a very simple, comprehensive and highly-effective weight-loss program that addresses the root-causes of weight-gain, including many of the lesser-known and more difficult-to-manage aspects, such as why diets fail, and the roles that stress, hormones, allergies/intolerances, genetically-modified foods (GMOs) and harmful additives, preservatives and chemicals can play in trying to manage weight loss. • Understand the Benefits of Juicing by Absolutely Juicy – Arron Barnes, founder and “most passionate employee,” delivers fresh, raw, unpasteurized juices, which are hand-crafted daily. These juices aid in reducing pain, headaches and inflammation; making a healthy lifestyle change much easier. There are many reasons people are encouraged to have six to eight servings of fruit and vegetables each day. While actually eating all the needed nutrition may be difficult, drinking it is deliciously easy. Visit www.absolutelyjuicy.com.

• Participate in a Senior Circuits Class Demonstration led by Tom Eastwood – Senior Circuits is a course of easygoing resistance exercises performing eight to 12 reps of each with minimal rest between sets, then repeating the circuit throughout the duration of the workout.  Circuits training for seniors has been proven to develop strength, improve balance, flexibility, posture and cardiovascular health. Tom owns and operates their partner fitness facility Complete Physique Anytime located in Kalama. Tom has experience in group training and is generous in supporting and mentoring the studio’s efforts to reach seniors in the community.

Some participating partners and vendors who will be onsite for the event include Land of the Living Apothecary, Every Body Kneads Fat Loss, Treasured Health Massage, Massage by Design and more.

At the event, they will also be raffling off items donated by all of their partners. Must be present to win. Space is limited, so RSVP to this event by calling (360) 852-5392.
