Audigy Group welcomes new CFO

Over the past decade, Audigy Group has grown from a developmental startup to a powerhouse company in the hearing care industry, thanks largely to foundational cultural philosophies established by founder and CEO Brandon Dawson.

Now the company feels strongly it has hired another innovative mind to guide their finances, as Michael Halloran joins Audigy Group as chief financial officer. Halloran replaces Controller Chris Roberts, one of Audigy Group’s Senior Partners.

“We have no doubt that we’ve hired the right man to take over for Chris, and that he can help us fulfill Audigy Group’s long-term goals,” says Dawson. “Michael will make a great addition to our business. He has a rich background in finance, accounting, and business, including direct responsibilities in accounting for $500 million organizations.”

Prior to joining Audigy Group, Halloran was VP and CFO of Action Target, as well as CFO at Otix Global, Inc. Halloran’s relationship with Dawson and Audigy spans several years, as Dawson worked with Halloran when Halloran was CFO of Sonic Innovations – Audigy’s first manufacturing partner.

“I’m happy to be bringing my experience in the hearing care industry to an innovative organization that puts people first,” says Halloran. “Not only has Audigy revolutionized the hearing care industry, but the culture is healthy and the businesses we work with seem to truly care about improving the health of their local communities. It’s hard to ask for a better situation to step into.”

Under Dawson, Roberts, and President Mason Walker, Audigy Group has grown from $600,000 in revenue in 2005 to approximately $32 million in 2014. Audigy has received national recognition six times as one of the fastest-growing companies in America.

Audigy Group is a member-driven organization established in 2004 to assist private, independent hearing care professionals in consistently delivering the highest-quality hearing care to their communities. Audigy Group’s membership includes some of North America’s leading audiologists – innovators in both clinical care and in defining the standards of service within the hearing care industry.
