You can finally learn how to transform the organic matter that’s been stinking up your kitchen garbage into a lush garden.
Clark County's Master Composter/Recycler program is now accepting registrations for free composting and green cleaning workshops to be held throughout the end of May and into June.
The Master Composter/Recycler program’s goal is to educate the community on easy ways to cut down waste, increase recycling and examine one’s impact on natural resources.
Master Composter/Recyclers with 30 hours or more of training will assist with the classes.
“The green cleaning classes are intended to promote sustainable living,” the county stated in a news release.
“These workshops help people set up successful composting operations at home and live a more healthy, sustainable lifestyle,” said Pete DuBois, Master Composter/Recycler program coordinator.
