Commission on Aging meeting to discuss the benefits of trees

The next Commission on Aging meeting will be discussing how trees and urban forestry play a critical role in strengthening social cohesion, bring community revitalization, and add economic value to communities. The meeting will happen at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15 on the sixth-floor Hearing Room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver. 

Jesse Batty, urban forestry specialist with the City of Vancouver, and Sarah Fox, planner with the City of Camas, are slated to speak.
