Savor Southwest Washington wines at Pearson Air Museum

The Southwest Washington Winery Association is set to roll out its first-ever Savor Southwest Washington Wine event this weekend. Guests can enjoy the sampling of up to 60 different wines provided by 16 local wineries at the Pearson Air Museum on May 11. All types of wine will be offered and there will also be an espresso bar.

Destiny Brink, Savor’s director and the owner of Pomeroy Cellars Winery, is excited to see such a locally-focused wine event finally come to fruition.

“It’s been a need that’s been lacking in our area,” she said. “There have been quite a few beer events and wine events in other capacities but nothing that’s specific to showcase our local offerings.”

“In fact, a lot of the other events kind of neglect some of the local producers so the association wanted to put on an event that really showcased its members and showcased what we have in the Southwest Washington area specifically,” Brink later added.

Savior will also feature a number of restaurants. Each of the restaurants will be offering a variety of different dishes consisting of pastries, bread and different small dishes crafted with locally grown food.
