Drivers in Clark County can expect occasional single lane closures and delays as work to upgrade traffic signals and equipment begins this month.

Starting Wednesday, Jan. 1, crews from Mill Plain Electric (Clark County Public Works’ contractor) will improve traffic signal systems, upgrade and relocate school zone flashing lights and repair damaged systems.

Work will be done at the following locations: Northeast 47th Avenue at Northeast Minnehaha Street; Northeast 13th Avenue at Northeast 78th Street; Northeast 10th Avenue at Northeast 199th Street; Northeast Tenney Road at Northeast 139th Street; Northeast 16th Avenue at Northeast 78th Street; Northeast 58th Avenue at Northeast 78th Street; York Elementary School – Northeast 152nd Avenue; Pleasant Valley Primary School – Northeast 50th Avenue; Northwest Lakeshore Avenue at Northwest 78th Street; and Northeast 78th Street from Northeast Highway 99 to Northeast St. Johns Road

The contractors will complete the work as materials and resources become available, so last-minute changes to scheduled locations may occur. For more information, visit clark.wa.gov/public-works.
