Area pets are looking for loving forever homes

Posted

Several area pets are available for adoption through different pet organizations in the Clark County area. These pets are hoping to find a loving forever home.

Second Chance Companions

Meet Russell: Russell is an 8-year-old terrier mix. He does have some special needs. He had a back injury about four years ago that left him paralyzed. Russell has pretty much recovered with the exception of one foot turning under when he walks and having trouble controlling his bowels. If he is fed at a regular time, it is pretty easy to manage. Just feed Russell and then put him outside for a while and he will take care of his business. Russell knows how to roll over, shake and more. He does great with other dogs, cats and children. His current owner has to work long hours and can’t be there to take him out, so he needs a new home.

Meet Hobo: Hobo is a 4-year-old domestic medium hair orange mix tabby. He is very handsome with white and orange markings. Hobo loves to have his ears rubbed once he used to someone and he gets along great with other kitties in his current foster home. He hasn’t been around children or dogs and would rather go to a quiet home without them, but he would love to have a kitty buddy to hang out with. Hobo has a cute little gravelly meow when he’s being vocal, but he is not much of a “talker.” He is litter trained, even though he lived outside for the first few months of his life, and he is microchipped. Hobo tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.
