Workshop Teaches How to Keep Productive, Sustainable Pastures

 

 

Clark County, WA –    Join the Small Acreage Program for a workshop that will teach techniques and practices to renovate and establish pastures to keep them greener, healthier and more productive.  Valuable reference materials will be provided and WSU Extension livestock and forage specialist, Gary Fredricks, who will cover methods, costs and equipment used for renovating pastures, reseeding techniques, grass and forage options, and grazing practices that will improve pasture and water quality. Participants may bring hay samples for help with evaluating quality.
