New Roots Haiti is a non profit working in Haiti that is focused on empowering parents to care for their families through education, employment, and nutrition assistance.

Nick & Nikki Stolberg are originally from Ridgefield WA.  They moved to Haiti in 2010 shortly after the devastating earthquake.  They spent 6 years caring for sick and malnourished infants before they decided to start New Roots.  The goal of New Roots is to empower parents to be able the care for their children the way they desire to without the needs of handouts from NGO's.  They focus on creating sustainable jobs and industry in an area where people live on less than $2 per day.

This summer they were part of a TV show where a group of 4 people traveled to various countries to do community projects.  At New Roots they built a grain mill to turn locally purchased corn into chicken feed.

Come and watch the 55 minute TV show, enjoy a dinner and hear from Nick Stolberg as he shares about this entire experience.

There will be a dinner provided, donations are accepted.
