The VSO Chamber Music Series Presents the “Legacy Young Artist Concert”
The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music Series presents the “Legacy Young Artist Concert” on Sunday, November 17 at First Presbyterian Church. The concert will feature five Young Artist Competition finalists from years past as they share their talents that have been fostered within our community.
Returning Young Artists Competition finalists, include Ben Price – oboe, Hailey Kang – cello, Jenna Tu – piano, Macy Gong – flute and Nicholas Dill – violin. Each musician has chosen pieces to showcase their skills. Co-creator of the VSO Chamber Music Series and VSO pianist, Dr. Michael C. Liu, will also accompany a selection of musicians.
What: Eugene Goossens's Oboe Concerto in 1 Movement, Tchaikovsky Rococo Variations, Frederic Chopin’s Polonaise Fantaisie in A Flat Major Op. 61, Mozart’s Flute Concerto in D major, 1st movement and Franck’s Violin Sonata
