Just Right Auto Repair, a full-service automotive repair facility located at 5706 NE Minnehaha Street in Vancouver, is taking reservations from single parents in the month of September for free oil changes.
A total of 100 free basic oil changes and safety inspections will be performed throughout October at a value of roughly $13,750 (including prizes). This is the fourth annual event by Just Right Auto to help single parents who struggle to make ends meet. As the cost of living rises, financially challenged families often neglect vehicle repairs, which can compromise the safety of their families and vehicles.
Vehicle repair can be expensive, and neglect causes engine damage; part failures can be hazardous or even fatal. While every auto repair shop wants to earn repeat business, single parent families often struggle year after year and need ongoing support.
“What we are offering is a very small thing, but if we can all pitch in and help, it can make a difference in the lives of people who are raising our future generations” says Shari Troyer, Just Right owner. Just Right Auto welcomes other local businesses and vendors to participate with giveaways to support these families.
In addition to the free oil changes and vehicle inspections, which will be scheduled throughout October, all families will receive a free gift bag with products from many supporting vendors including free car washes. They will also be entered into a raffle for grand prizes to be awarded at the end of October. To qualify for free services, single parents must live in Clark County and have custody of a school age child or children younger children/child who live in their homes. They must call to reserve a spot.
Those who know of someone who qualifies, can call (360) 695-2011 to schedule an appointment. The first 100 qualifying parents will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
