Steven Radosevich
Ridgefield School District’s Board of Directors is seeking a replacement for its District 3 seat as former member Steven Radosevich announced his resignation.
The district noted in a news release that it was searching for “highly qualified candidates” to replace Radosevich, who had served on the board for close to 10 years as of his resignation. Interested individuals have until 4 p.m. March 27 to submit an application either online (visit the “News” section of ridgefieldsd.org) or in person at the RSD Superintendent’s Office at Ridgefield Administrative & Civic Center, 510 Pioneer St., Ridgefield.
The release noted a special meeting of the school board would be scheduled to interview candidates in an open session. Appointment of the new board member was anticipated to be April 9.
The district said it could extend the application deadline if necessary to obtain a sufficient number of applications.
