EVELYN IRELAND
Evelyn Ruth (Place) Ireland, 94, died May 2, 2008, in Vancouver.
Ireland was born Dec. 2, 1913, in Belleville, WI, and lived the past four years in Brush Prairie.
Ireland enjoyed golfing, arranging flowers, painting with watercolors, and craftwork. She had worked as a bookkeeper in the wine and liquor distribution industry.
Ireland was preceded in death by her husband, Richard V. Ireland, in 1976. Survivors include son Curtis Ireland of Brush Prairie, granddaughter Cindi George of Idaho and four great-grandchildren.
No services will be held, with Layne’s Funeral Home, Battle Ground, in charge of arrangements.
